Cruise ships have need of many different types of entertainers for their daily activities and shows. Many of them are award-winning and require a wide variety of performers and entertainers to keep people happily entertained. The ships also offer a great way to meet many new people and network with other entertainers.

Entertainers need to consider applying at the cruise lines concessionaire for a position. These companies often travel widely setting up auditions. Contracts can range between a couple of days to many months. You will need to send a quality Video, CD, or DVD that demonstrates your talent. Getting hired usually means no pay, but you will usually get a free ticket, meals, and an opportunity to perform and build your resume. If you’re good, a short performance could lead to quickly being hired by other cruise ships.
