Cruises offer many specialized forms of personal care for its passengers. These are the same kind of services that you would expect to find in any salon. Of course, they also need to have qualified personnel to provide them for passengers looking for extra pampering while on board the ship.
Onboard salons and spas may be run by specialized brand name companies. They help to ensure that all personnel in the salon are qualified professionals who are certified appropriately. Each salon employee, which includes beauty therapists, massage therapists, manicurists, hair stylists, fitness instructors, accupuncturists, and more, need to have prior salon experience. Medical professionals, such as physicians and nurses, will probably need to have ER experience.
