CruiseJobFinder interviewed a recruitment manager for Steiner Leisure, which places people into spa positions on cruise ships. Steiner fills positions on many cruise lines, including: Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Carnival, Holland America, Norwegian, Disney, Crystal, and others.

Please describe what your company does for cruise lines?

Steiner Leisure LTD is a Spa Company, therefore we provide the Spa services on over 160 Cruise lines.

What is your role in the staffing process?

I am the Recruitment Manager in South Africa.

How does it differ from what the cruise lines are doing?

The cruise lines do not recruit Spa staff. We recruit our own employees who we then send for various jobs on the cruise lines once we have performed various checks on to see that they are the right people for the job.
