Getting a job as cruise Casino Staff will mean that you will most likely have similar requirements that a regular casino would have. You will have to be at least 21 years old, and will need to meet other requirements related to the specific position.

Dealers will need to have at least one year of previous experience and must be familiar with at least two games. Slot managers need to have a minimum of three years’ experience, and Slot Technicians and Trainees are required to have at least six months of experience.

Casino Staff enjoy some of the best benefits on a cruise ship because the casino is often closed while the ship is in port. This lets them see the various port cities of the world, while other cruise positions will be required to stay on board – at least some of their port time. Positions include:

  • Casino Manager
  • Dealers
  • Casino Hosts
  • Cashiers
  • Casino Technicians

Casino jobs are often filled by the cruise lines’ concessionaire. Getting a casino job will require that you have a competitive resume.
